Is my phone eSIM compatible?
Most smartphones released in the last few years support eSIM. Here's a quick overview by brand, and a 10-second way to check your own phone.
The 10-second check
- Open your phone app and dial *#06#.
- If you see an EID (a long 32-digit number), your phone supports eSIM.
- Make sure your phone is carrier-unlocked.

Frequently asked questions
How do I check if my phone supports eSIM?
Dial *#06#. If an EID number is shown, your phone has an eSIM chip. On iPhone you can also look for “Add eSIM” under Settings → Mobile Service (Cellular). On Android, look for “Add eSIM” or “Download a SIM” in your SIM or network settings.
Does my phone need to be unlocked?
Yes. A phone locked to one carrier can't use another provider's eSIM. Ask your carrier if you're not sure whether your phone is unlocked.
My phone isn't on this list — can I still use an eSIM?
Possibly. New models launch frequently and support depends on region. If your phone shows an EID when you dial *#06# and it's unlocked, it supports eSIM.
